Whitewater State Park no weeds

Did the DNR spray weeds at this lake? No weeds this summer. Had some early in year but went last week and found none. Can think of no reason why they would be killed off since this is a trolling motor only lake. Used to be gin clear but now is stained at best. Still catch a few decent bass but now it is a lot tougher to locate fish.
Sad to see since this was one of the few lakes in the area that had a good frog bite

Maybe the high water early this year had something to do with that. It used to have a lot of weeds in it. I didn't hear anything about them spraying down there.
