Amazing new wireless technology coming to Mercury Marine in March of 2024!

Word is they'll be licensing this amazing new technology to other companies to bring wireless to TV's, cell phones, computers and even appliances!

It still requires Smartcraft gauges. So that $300 is in addition to the purchase of a Level 2 smartcraft gauge with N2K port, plus a N2K network. So you're looking at about $1000 to add wireless functionality to your engine monitoring.

Not true. What you are describing is to get it on your Lowrance or 'Bird units. If you want it on your phone, you only need the module and app.

I used my Vessel View Mobile this morning as a matter of fact. Very nice device as it gives you Speed, RPMs, engine temperature, fuel info, and engine hours. I probably use it every other time out on the boat. The only draw back I see is if you cut you engine off it will drop the connection after about 10 minutes. simple to reacquire but a bit of a nuisance. Definitely cheaper than the Vessel View gauges and much simpler to install and use.
