I just realized you posted this ? waterbugg, sorry so long to answer. (I guess you were talking to me.) The lights were on the boat when I bought it, but I wouldn't change them for anything. They make a big difference running down the lake in the fog. So far, no limitations with them, only drawback I see with them is ever so often, I have to readjust them. They tend to move out of line with the beating of the water. No leaks, or any other problems.

Im not actually sure of the model number. But it is a 1995 17foot 9 inches. Would that make it a 279???? If any one knows if that it the model number please let me know.

I was at Awoonga chasin' Barra a couple of weeks ago, and there were three Stratos, two Skeeters and a Nitro on the water. Good to see more US boats down here.
