Look for two aluminum tabs under the front of the seats with one philips head screw in each one. That's how my old boat did it.

The center should pull out & there will be screws in there.
mine didn't pull out but the screws were buried in the gaps of the back rest what year is the 294xl? mine was a 2000 likely if newer more like a ranger set up with removable seat cushions
