74 mph, gps fully loaded, boat will run 74 mph too!

And a nagging wife! ( Don't Know why?)

Currently running 67mph (gps) with full tournament load and 485lbs of fishermen.

I can turn a 26" Raker 6000RPMand get about 70mph (gps), but the holeshot and high-speed handling are terrible. I'll be tinkering with the motor height and vent holes on the prop to try to solve these issues.

Hello guys! I've owned Stratos since 1991. My current relic is being taken out of moth-balls; it hasn't run 20 hours in the last 10 years, but I'm about to change that. I've been on a make-over binge for many months as time has allowed. It may be old like me, but it has been garage kept since new unless it was out on a trip, so it still glistens like one in the showroom. Photos will come soon; the deck is still covered in parts and tools right now, LOL. It will be obvious that a lot of the extras listed are brand new/just installed.

Soon to be traded in on a 2012 285XL Evinrude E-tec 150 H.O. all mine.jpg Once I get it on the water and get it setup I'll update the post with specs. Raker II 24" 6" MJP @3 1/2" below. 66 MPH full load and 68 MPH light. I'm gonna try a 25" when light and it may just nick 70 mph?
