    Javelin 379T 1994

    Hello guys,

I'm the new owner of a Javelin 379T 1994 and I have few questions for you

    1. If someone have the owner manual for the boat I will really happy if you share with me
    2. What is the "valve" into the photography? Driver side
    3. What is the tire size of the trailer
    4. What is the recommanded pressure of the tire

    Thank you

    Dany

Looks like tank selector to me.

Get in close and shine a light across the bezel. They're embossed print - VERY shallow embossed...should be able to make it out.

That is the remote switch for the livewell drainplug. One position is open and the other is closed. It may or may not still operate properly. If your boat has an actual plug in the drain hole, that means the remote probably doesn't close anymore.

On that switch, when the top is forward, that's closed. Towards the motor is open.
Don't remember the width of my tires but they are 75 14's. I believe 40 PSI is recommended.

The valve is not closing, had the same issue on my 95.
Check where the cable connects to the valve in the bilge area. Mine would close if i closed the valve by hand but the switch up front wouldn't close it. Might be able to adjust the cable if valve still works.

There is an old thread on this site started by BassinMatt on May 27, 2015 asking same questions about the livewell operation of his 93 Javelin 379. Everything you need to know can be found there.

Tire pressure will be determined by the tire you put on your trailer. If it is a trailer tire, as it should be, pressure will be from 50 - 65 lbs. as stated on the sidewall.

My livewell switch was stiff as mentioned abov too. Sprayed some simple green in the bilge area and on top of the plastic housing and worked it a bit, operates smoothly now and the area is very clean. . Hope that it works for you too.
