Mercury 250 Pro XS Trim Cylinder

Hey guys,

I'm not really sure if trim cylinder is the proper name for this piece, but the round cap where the silver rod comes out of on my trim system is backing out(there are two, one on each side). When it backs out I lose trim fluid. I have been tightening it back down with a pair of vice grips but I just want to see what might be the cause and how hard the fix would be. Not really good with motors or hydraulic systems but trying to become more familiar! Any help is appreciated! I also checked the FAQ thread but just looking for a little more in depth info.

You need to tighten the End Cap with a "pin wrench".
