    Carpet replacement Suggestions

Anyone have any recommendation on carpet replacement in South FL? Carpet on my boat is pretty beat up so I'm looking to get a full replacement.

Also what is a good carpet brand or type?

    Thank you

Might think about going sea deck instead of carpet.

Its twice the cost of carpet!!!!! Well its way more expensive than carpet. Not sure exactly the cost but its very expensive but from what I hear, well worth the cost.

How does the sea deck hold up to treble hooks
does it tear the material when pulled out?

Sea Dek, while nice, is a tough fit on bass boats as the lids are used to carpet and spacing is built in to accommodate carpet. I wouldn't recommend it. Get a carpet quote from MTS Boat Works in Polk County.

Cheap is cheap..pay more get more in many many things as you learn in life...

I had synthetic (Ultimate Boards of Ga) about 15 years ago for example...
wonderful but so many guys just shy away from change...
anyone in the coastal states should look at these boards after 5 years of wood boards...

Glad to see posters asking good questions and not just kissing off new rig materials etc..
