    First Bullet

Okay guys, just purchased a mint 1988 17CC bullet. Looking for some setup advice. It will be powered by a 2.5 200 with 4 petal boyeson reeds, 150 compression, bridgeport tuner. block was a ff that has been opened up a little bit. I have 2 lowers 1 is a bobs coned with 1.87 and the other is a xr4 with 1.78 which i may get a cone on later on.

Also looks like it has dual cable steering? That will work but probably better with hydraulic...that floater should fly!!!

Has hydraulic, Bullet factory told me it should go around 90-92 if I set up for speed with that motor. Assuming i have the balls to go there lol

Sharp rig! Very clean and for an 88 nice condition, but most Bullet guys keep their Bullet's immaculate. Congrats and welcome to the family!

I think they all do. I'll take a hundred pics (which I have and more ) and still not capture the true beauty. Mine looks way better than any of the pics I've ever taken! I guess that's why they have rallys and get togethers to show them off. You'll catch yourself just staring at it everytime you pass by! I do! Just can't help it

I noticed I don't have a coastguard plate. Do I need one? Would bullet be able to provide this?

Theres a reason the plate is missing- its overpowered. Dont let it concern you
