School me on Composting Toilets...
Morning all....Looking at a "Natures Head" Composting Unit for a weekend getaway lot..Not a lot of people will use it..but it would be nice to have when people visit..have any experience with this particular brand? or suggest any other ? Thanks

Truthfully, composting toilets are pretty crappy.
All jokes aside, we found it easier to use a cassette toilet and empty it.
Cost (initial, repair and replacement) is lower, simpler, etc.
If you don't have anywhere to empty it, options are reduced however.
One more option to consider ... incinerating toilets, propane powered.
They are a better 'long term solution' IMO, but costly upfront.

Thanks for the reply...I'm going to look into that as a possibility...I knew a guy who had one (propane) set up in his shop...I didn't pay much attention to it...I think I'd be alright without one altogether...but the "soft" half of the equation isn't having any...
