    1998 201PE chine walk

Put a 24p trophy plus on my 225 merc. Runs great now, holeshot is much improved. But - when I get it up around 68, it starts to chine walk. Advice? Thanks!

Never had one that was fast enough to worry, myself. If its set up right, guys who know are gonna tell ya, "learn to drive it" - nature of the beast. There's threads on this topic - easiest to find in the General Bass Boat forum.

    I should have such a problem - I have a 200 pushin' my '95 201.... 63, whoohoo! Still faster 'n I can cast.

    Have fun.

Read some of the threads on how to drive through it. Usually quick pulls to the left on the steering wheel will fix it. I have had the same boat since it was new. Catch it as soon as it starts and you can get through it. If it gets worse slow down a little until it stops and then start over again. I usually keep a little tension to the left side on mine.
