19+ pounds of smallies won. Very impressive.
Winning weight was 19.57 2nd was 15.71 3rd was 15.41 and 4th was 15.23. Not 100% sure those are exact, but they are close. We got 4th. Fishing was great early in the morning, but was shutdown by about 10. Heavy fog around lansing slowed a bunch of people down and really made running anywhere unsafe and very time consuming. If your first spot didn't pan out I think you were in serious trouble after that. I had several spots I thought were going to be really good and didn't even have a bite in most of them.
Anyone get a count on boats in the lock going to 9? I assume all the big weight came from there.
No count. I would say at least 50. A few got shut out also I believe. 2nd place was on 10 I think, but not sure about the others. There wad obit 1 other 15lb bag and I believe only a few 14's. Not sure when they'll post results.

the bags they use to weigh in add a pound to your bag. 19 lbs is really 18 lbs. Still a

You don't think they zero' d the bag prior to weigh in? We were pretty sure we had around 15lbs prior to weigh in. Hard to imagine we were off by a full pound, but I suppose anything is possible.

The bags when you weigh in are wet. Thats were the pound comes in. Ask most any of the guys. They will tell you the same thing.
