Don't feel like the Lone Ranger, we've all done it! I'll be thinking about something else and it'll happen.

Oh no not me!! I forget about every time I go. Much easier to figure it out in the winter. I will be letting her eat and look down and see 49 and think just for a second that I have blown my motor. Then next thought.. I am such a dummy!!

Dummest thing i ever did was on my stratos. We have a farm and sometimes put field chemicals to kill plants in 5 gallon gas cans, Well i ran out of gas on the river and used my trolling motor to get to the farm as we always have gas. Well dummy instead of looking if it was gas i just assumed it was gas in there. I was 3/4 done by the time i realized i was putting "roundup" in my gas tank. I realized when a bit fell in the water and didn;t make a rainbow. Then smelt it and was pretty dissapointed in my self to say the least.

Took me 10hr to remove the gas tank and clean it

In my old tin I could never mistake the water temp for the speed unless I was plowing through ice!
