    Busted water pressure gauges

Do any of you guys that fish in really cold temps have a problem with this? I have had one for sure freeze and quit and this boat had one that was bad but don't know what from. Is it worth putting a tee with a drop and shutoff just before the gauge so I can drain it on the way home?

Yea, I know I will forget to close it and get pissed on next time I go out!

    Thanks

That's the simple way to fix it. Put the tee and the hose where it's easy to get too. Others will be on here telling you to blow the line out with air but if you drain the line it won't freeze the gauge. You only need to open the tee when it's going to be below freezing.

I use it for crappie fishing in late fall or winter, more worried about it freezing on way home. Blowing out is not an option in that case. Thanks!
