My son is headed to Bloomington

    Hey guys

My son is headed to Bloomington to attend IU this fall. I was wondering if there is anyone nearby that would be willing to connect with him and show him a local lake or two. He of course would pay for gas. We just finishing our last Delta fishing trip before he leaves tomorrow and was treated to this 8 lb gem on a frog.

Monroe is the big lake, though in town Griffy (spelling) lake is a good one to fish. Then there is Lemon, and some ponds out in the state forest as well. Patoka is about a hour or so south, as is dogwood.

Lake Greenwood at Crane Naval Weapons Support Center may still be open to public fishing on a limited basis.

Will he have a ride or need picked up on campus?

He should look up the IU Bass team for sure! Tell him to friend me on Facebook...I'll give him some more in depth info on local lakes.
