Was sitting in the boat the other day and I notice that the shields are different sizes. Drivers side is not as tall as the passengers. Is yours that way? If so, is the right one on the correct console?

To my knowledge, there is only one part number for the windshield, so should be the same regardless of which side it's mounted on. Now, that doesn't mean that the QC coming out of Custom Mold might vary between batches.
I have a 2005 198 and noticed that my windshields was some kind of odd shape. I ordered 2 new ones and tried to put them on, well the holes were drilled so differently that I had to drill new holes for the new windshields. So my guess is that the factory worker crammed ours into the holes and the windshield might look different because it's an odd shape now. Swap them around and see if they look different.
As mentioned above, just one part # for them.

My 2008-210 had same windshields
Yeah mine are the same as well. it is just the console height of each are different therefore making the illusion that the shield was different as well.

I can attest to this and will also add that now my windshield on the passenger side is actually a bit lower. I strapped the road cover down a bit too tight one day and the windshield warped. I have a new pair but hate to put them on just yet. Besides, I don't sit over there. LOLOriginally Posted by barbarian

The driver's side shield might appear to be shorter because it's dash is taller to accommodate a dash installed sonar. Both of my shields are about 14 1/2 inches tall, but the driver's side looks shorter.

Smoke wagon what speed u get with that 175 I have same boat cx with 150
I get 62 mph in the summer and 63 in the colder months. The speeds are with a 23 Tempest with just me in the boat with an empty livewell and 20 gallons of gas. I think my boat was built a little heavier than normal or my 175 is not quite as stout as it should be.

I have 150 op/m summer 62 run a 25 temp my boat weight 1450lb.

My 183 weighs 1780 lbs. I fish Clear Lake, Camanche, Delta, and Berryessa. I hope you are OK living in the upper part of Louisiana with Hurricane Harvey.

We're good here, but now forecasters talking about possible hurricane hitting mid-Atlantic.
Had boat thoroughly checked out Monday by my dear friend, Merc Master mechanic, Lee Sanderson. All is ready to hit the rivers as soon as weather permits. It's been far too long since we have been fishing.....
