I have been using power pro for years, but switched over to the new yo zuri braid this year in the blue color and it has been very nice. No complaints at all. Limp, havent had any breaks, line color stays pretty well, line fray is very minimal. I use all my spinning braid in 15lb. I have also used the Sunline SX braid and that is also very nice, but for me seemed to have a little lower breaking strength.

Power Pro Super Slick 8 in 15lb test. In stained water I use straight braid to the lure. In clear water I'll tie on a 10ft leader of Sunline Sniper FC usually in 10lb test.

I just switched to 20# Daiwa Samurai. So far I am liking it just as much or more than PowerPro SuperSlick.

20 lb Super Slick, 20 lb J-Braid, 17 lb Nanofil, or 40 lb Gliss all work well for me.

I also picked up some "Xtreme Braid" from a guy selling it on Facebook to try out as it was $20 for 328 yards (or something like that...I'm assuming 300 m), figuring it'd not be very good. I spooled it up to fish with during practice to see how it was and it turns out that I'm mightily impressed with it. I can't believe it, but it's really good stuff. I may well just start buying it for all my braid needs. It's certainly much cheaper.

10lb for finesse and 15lb for everything else. Original power pro is the best I found. Super slick gave me nothing but issues with every spool I bought and I couldn't wait to strip it off. Tried it three times and all spools found their way in the trash. It's more prone to wind knots, If you dip your rod tip down the line will get wrapped around the guides, casting distance and accuracy was the worst I've had with any braid regardless of brand.

If you want flat braid, fireline is the way to go

10lb 832. Been using one spool for 4 years andit still holds up fine. It does bleed and loose color but i could care less. I always have a leader tied on.

Which braid doesnt have color fade? Power pro fades! Sufix Performance fades! I really only use it at a local pond shore fishing in massive weeds and its always fading

Started with 10 pound power pro went to 10 pound super 8 slick then 8 pound power pro then 6 & 8 pound Nanofil and currently 8 pound Sufix Nanobraid. After Nanobraid gets used up will be buying more 8 pound Nanofil like it the best.
