    Slight play in prop shaft

    Prop shaft moves about a 1/16" in and out. Is this normal? I installed a new prop today and just noticed it.

    2004 Johnson 175. Stock lower unit is all I know.

    Totally normal. It's designed to do that. It's not loose, bent or anything.
