is it fixable? Lots of you tube videos on basic fixes that can be done.
But to answer your ? I have not seen any. I had the same problem but luckily was able to take care of mine.

How big of a refrigerator are you talking about?

Some people replace the rv fridge with a small house fridge from an appliance store for much less than $1300.Only downside is no gas will be electric only.
I have an extra Atwood 8 cubic foot (over/under) LP/electric refrigerator that came out of my new fifth wheel trailer. It has less than 1 week's usage, and is equipped with the optional fan so it can be mounted in a slide. I'll let it go for $800, and can meet you in Memphis with it.
