I am having some problems with my 1199 unit. Twice over the last 4 months I have been fishing tourneys and the unit will randomly go from showing a nice picture to showing nothing but vertical lines of different color. When I turn the unit on and back off it goes to this same view. If I leave the unit off for 3 to 4 hours and then turn it back on it boots up normal and works again. Good thing is it still has some time left on its warranty and I sent it back to Humminbird yesterday. My warranty ends next month hence the reason that I went ahead and sent it in. First occurrence was approx. 4 months ago and second occurrence was about 6 weeks.
Anyone had this issue? My biggest concern is that they won't be able to duplicate the problem.............warranty expires......and unit starts doing it again.
