BassCat will do that rigging, unless you want it done at your dealer and he will do it for you.

I think i would rather BassCat do it......

So in reality the dealer is simply negotiating the deal, placing the order and taking delivery and doing the transfer.

Any reason to chose on over the other?

In the realm of rigging I believe the factory has seen and done it all

Yes Bill service after the sale is what will make you happy or very upset about which dealer you went with.

I think all BassCat dealers are good dealerships. I'm sure some are better than others, just like anything else. I'd rather have the factory do the rigging also. There is no reason not to have them do it, at least that I can think of. I've got probably the best dealer, Sherm's Marine, just two hours away from me. That's where I buy my rigs. Sherm has sold boats to people in almost every state in the US. There is a reason for that.

Waiting on my new Pantera Classic... I sent my electronics (Helix and Onix) to Basscat for them to do a factor install, I doubt many dealers do as many installations as the factory.

IMO, it's best to let the factory do all the rigging so that they can pull all the wires in together and not end up having to fish a transducer wire through a big bundle of other wires. The only thing my dealer had to do when the boat arrived was inspect it, make sure it had the right amount of oil in the engine, run the engine on the mufflers, and generally make sure everything worked. He even caught a scratch on the top of the engine cowling and had a new cowling ordered/installed. I even had the factory install the NMEA backbone, Hummingbird black boxes, mount the ram for the bow unit. They did a perfect job.

On a BCB, I don't think you need to worry regardless of who does the rigging.

The dealers put in your trolling batteries.
