    819 bird questions

I'm looking to order my 819 and need some advice.

Do you need the pro air when you have a padded deck?
Has anyone's trailer turned white if it didn't have the paint over gatorhide?
    Do you recommend the oxygenator?

    Thanks for any advice.

I have padded deck and no pro-air.

Pretty sure the oxygenator is real easy to install after the fact. No idea, don't tourney fish anymore.

Mistakes I made, not upgrading my electronics, have now installed HDSs. Not sure if Phoenix is using Gatorbaks on the trailers now, I put those on to eliminate any issues with blistering - I hope.

Don't waste your money on the oxygenator.

Channel, shocks, paint and big front step are must haves on the trailer

I didn't buy the paint over gator-hyde. I live on gravel, and it would end up chipped anyway. My trailer isn't glossy and stays dingy from tell dust, but I don't see it turning 'white'.

ON my 619 i do not have the paint over the gator hyde....it does have that dull look but not turning white (of course boat is stored inside my shop when not in use)......its just not as shiny as with the paint....when i wash/clean the boat, i'll wipe it down with Wax as U Dry solution to give it a little shine.....IMO, and other will say, get the paint over the gator hyde....i have the Max Air and like it, dont have the oxygenators but did add the VT-2 vents to the lids and dont have any issues with dead fish especially in the summer......

If you plan to add a Trick Step save your money on the large bow step. Channel Trailer I opted for and I got the shocks on my trailer.

I have had flush mounts in the past was not for me. I have Precision Sonar Mounts on mine. I don't think you can go wrong with ether BBT or PS but I definitely would get raised mounts. Lockers are dry get a little wet in the corner of the passenger locker but not bad.

You can add a cap full of hydrogen peroxide and it will do the same thing as the oxygenator, not worth the money

Oxygenators put off heat as well. Ive never had an issue with the livewells. They are good size.
