I'd look for the spot where it meets another type of vegetation.

Thanks, I've used all the suggestions with the chatterbait being the most productive lately. I was just seeing if anyone was trying something different.
As for finding different vegetation next to or mixed I'm still learning how to tell the difference on my electronics.

I'll stick with a crankbait, senko unweighted, jerkbait over the grass and a speed worm with a 1/8 oz weight.

Jerk bait sounds good. Even in 90°water?

Let's talk no more of this. Enough people know of it already and we wouldn't want to hurt a new fishermans feelings.

It's never to hot for a jerk bait.

Never forget the weightless trickworm depending on thickness. On a calm day letting that thing fall on the inside or outside edges can be amazing.
