When measuring for the length of the Lou's Motor Toter you need, what's the optimum position for the motor to be in?
I went with the adjustable version. I didn't want my motor traveling at the height of the fixed one. I set it in the middle two holes which gives me 27.5 - 28in length.

On the Cougar I had, the motor was way too high with the standard Lou's. I too, sent it back and got the aadjustable model. Using it now on my Caracal.
It's a comfortable looking height to me. Just my preference.
Yep the fixed is to long. I went the adjustable route and man it is nice.
