    Lodging on Chickamauga

Any of you tenn guys know of some nice lodging on Chick? Need a place for a week that can handle 3 rigs as far as parking with electric and big enough for 6 guys who each want their own bed, preferably a house or cabin. Also what ramps are used for large tournies 250 - 300 boats as we will be there possibly for a championship and would like to stay fairly close to the ramp that can handle this tournie. Any help will be greatly appreciated as they are announcing our spring championship in a week just getting ideas in case it's there. Thanks Kevin

Wow, that's a lot of boats, hope you don't come here, KY Lake is much larger and closer, LOL...
But if you do, the only two ramps capable of that amount is Chester Frost in Hixson and the city ramp in Dayton (Dayton boat dock). I would suggest you find something in and around Dayton.
http://fishdayton.com is the website that has been set up by the city. The city has spent lots of money upgrading facilities. Dayton is located on the upper end of Chick and it's a 30 minute (or so) ride
to get down the lake to the nuclear towers and than on to Chick dam. If you are coming down in the next few weeks, don't get your hopes up, the grass didn't show up this year as it has in the past.
Let us know if you end up here in the spring.

Oh no, you wanna go to Chik! Kentucky Lake doesn't have those beautiful mountains and all those monster Florida strains!

And its parking in the grass when your talking those numbers. Its not some big extravagant ramp.

OK guys thanks for all the replies but it appears disaster has been averted. It was just announced we will be going to Guntersville for the Championship. Thanks again.

No offense but glad to hear you're going elsewhere. The last thing the lake needs is another giant tournament
