Put some transmission fluid on it and let it soak a while

If it's cross threaded, may have to cut the prop off, disassemble the lower unit, put the armature in a vice and try to get it to unscrew, then maybe you can retap it. Otherwise, a new armature, prop and nut is in your future.

Checked for cross thread and it's straight. Talked to motor guide and there is a copper insert that will seize up. Out of warranty so headed to motor guide service center for repair. Will try transmission oil tip too. Thanks team!

Mine was like that last week, I grabbed the end of the bolt with lock grips, and then with a open end wrench loosened the nut.

Get one of the eliminator prop nuts. Worth every penny.

OK, that's a separate problem. The nut isn't seized as the initial post. The plastic is stripped from the brass insert. break the plastic off, then with a good pair of pliers, you should be able to hold the prop and unscrew the insert. Replace with a washer and nyloc nut.
