If I am making tacos with fish I like to blacken them. Get a skillet smoking hot add a little butter season the fish and drop them in for about 2 minutes per side' This needs to be done outside because of the smoke.
Seasoning
2 tablespoons sweet paprika
1 tablespoons sea salt or to taste
2 tablespoons onion granules
2 tablespoons garlic granules
2 teaspoons ground cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon ground pepper
2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves, crushed
2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves, crushed

Slaw for fish tacos

4 cups very thinly presliced green cabbage
1 cup chopped plum tomatoes
1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
5 teaspoons extravirgin olive oil, divided
1/2 teaspoon salt, divided
1 teaspoon chili powder
8 (6-inch) corn tortillas

We use blackened fish, pan seared or fried whatever you feel like, it's your choice. We use the slaw on each variety. Feel free to tweak the slaw however you like
, we added some roasted corn off the cob.
