    I just thought that with the 2 wires melted together, that would be creating an electrical issue and that would be why the warning module was disconnected, therefore replacing that sensor with the melted wires would solve that issue. I definitely understand your side of it, it is just the lack of my knowledge that gets me wondering "what it could be".

    Ground it to the screw circled in green, correct?

    if warning system working oiler system is very dependable under 6000 I work on many late 80 models still running it today/and yes that screw key on horn should sound

    if warning system working oiler system is very dependable under 6000 I work on many late 80 models still running it today/and yes that screw key on horn should sound might wanna look for more melted wires good indication of over heating if wires laying against block and if your horn don't work boom hope this helped ya JOE

    I definitely took a good look around last night once I found those. Didn't seem to find any more anywhere else. You make a very good point though - I will keep an eye out for it. By the looks of it, looks like powerhead was replaced at some point. I guess that's a good thing.
