    Spinnerbait blade paint?

    Hello,

    Anyone have tips for painting spinnerbait blades.

    What kind of marker or paint to use, where to purchase, process?

    I bought a powder paint air brush this past spring. TJ'S tackle has them for 40.00 you use any transparent/candy paint. Jann's Netcraft, Barlows, or Lure parts online all carry the powder paint that you need to get started. The process is heat the blade for a couple of second and shoot the blade. Pretty simple but it does take time to learn how much time you need to heat the blade so there is a learning curve to start.

    It should. You could make it more durable with a clear over the top. Epoxy or Dick Nites would be tougher than something like clear nail polish. You could always spray and cure a cheap clear like Krylon to preserve the finish while a tougher clear is being added later.
