    99 225 EFI Temp Sensor?

    OG885575 Serial #

What exactly does the temp sensor feed? Is it used for strictly warning system or does it work multifunctional with the ECU as well? Trying too get a handle on its function in the system.... Don't see a lot of info out on it.... Tried a search and only finding overheat issues....

Engine Head temp sensor located on cylinder head is for fuel enrichment and to warn of an overheat condition.

Air temperature sensor transmits manifold air temp to fuel ECM

    Thanks for the info....

Can both be read for accurate operation on the diagnostic computer? Or do they have to be done separately?

Air Temp and Engine Temp can both be seen in the Data Stream with the Computer Diagnostic System.
