livewell timer only adjust how long before pump comes on?

the timer on my Ranger only can be adjusted for how long in between the pump comes on correct, not how long the pump will pump once on? right now I have it som it comes on every 4 minutes but only pumps for about 1 minute time wise. I can vary time in between when it comes on but not duration of pump correct?

Yes! The knob controls the interval between pumping cycles, but I thought my 374 pumped longer than a minute ...

Mine pumps for 1 minute no matter what. The dial only changes the time in between. I've also learned that the timers Flo-Rite sells now are exactly the same as the one that's original on my 1995. Maybe there's another company that makes timers that allow you control the duration as well as downtime?

SO Is min on the dial the minimum time between cycles (More aeration) and Max is the longer time between? Or do I have this reversed?

The owners manual gives a pretty decent explanation of the min & max on off times. At least for mine.
