Renewing old gel coat

Can anybody tell me the best way to renew the shine on the gel coat. Its pretty dull , do I have to clear coat the whole thing....

Go to the Protec website
Watch the video on wet sanding
Order the product and buy the wet paper
Get busy, have fun, and you're boat will look like new.
DO NOT CLEAR COAT YOUR BOAT

Boats do not have clear coat on them like cars. The shine comes for a clear coat of gel coat that is initially placed in the mold so it becomes the outer layer. It isn't sprayed on.
