recomendations for a new SS prop

Hi Cajun owners. I have a 1995 Rajun Cajun XL 18'6" with a 130 HP running a 21 pitch 3 blade SS prop that has been worked. It is a little dinged up and was wondering what would be a good replacement. Top end is 42 MPH and the hole shot isn't too bad. Should I get it reworked or buy new? I do have a 19 pitch spare now.

Personally if you like your numbers and preformance I would send it for reconditioning. Cost effective too.

Your motor is a 130 HP? What are your RPM's at WOT

ROCKNEMO when it gets up to 5500 I stop. There is still some room on the throttle but I am afraid of blowing it up. Do I need a larger pitch prop or a four blade to hold the RPMs down?

You never said what motor you have? Your motor should have a rev limiter at it'smax RPM's so you cant over rev and hurt the motor. Number of blades doesn't matter its the pitch of the prop, you want a prop that hits as close to your motor's max RPM's at WOT, a pitch will change you rpm's by 150. unless your motor is real old and tired and that's why you don't want to run it WOT than you really need to know that to determine what pitch prop you really need. There are other factors also like prop shaft to pad measurement but this is the basics.

Thanks for the info. In my profile it shows a Johnson 1995 130 hp motor. I didn't know thAt it had a rev limiter, is this on most Enigines. See bottom of this post.
