    i have seen a shark in a canal in bayou black. No where near that size probably about 2.5ft at most. But definitely was not expecting to see it.

    Last year there were quite a few swimming around lake decade and jug lake.

    i had a small bull shark about 2' long that messed with my foot on my TM at the mouth of the gate canal a few years ago. He bit my blade once and circled for a while.

    My wife hooked up with one in jug lake last year. When it jumped out of the water she dropped the pole and jumped up on the leaning post lol

    We caught a foot long tarpon in the Basin about 5 miles north of Doirons this spring. You just never know.

    thats the canal i seen it in. lol. Water was crystal clear that day and this was all the way in the back.

    after gustav they had some good sized ones that moved into the piquante area. crazy to see 30-40lbers rolling. wouldn't hit anything lol

    All of these strange fish ya'll are claiming are in the basin, they are just not there. It's impossible according to some.
