Left the plug out one time started fishing right from the ramp. When i noticed it the back of the boat was level with the lake and water all the way in the front Compartment. Got the plug in switched on the bilge pump and kept of fishing. so yes she can take on a lot of water and still float.

In my fathers x70 Was replacing the aerator pump on Thursday didn't finish and went fishing saty morning fished about an hour when my feet got wet on the back deck. Turned on the bilge trolled to the bank and put the old one back in the hole finished fishing. But I'm sure if left unattended it's not gonna be like a ranger or skeeter and just stay afloat but it won't sink either. There's a story online of an x19 in Lake Michigan nearly sinking and the 2 guys getting rescued.
