I went to replace my jack on my Dridoc trailer. It has a mounting plate that’s welded to the trailer that the original jack was mounted to. Of course, no matter how I tried, I couldn’t get the holes on the plate to line up with the holes on the new jack. So I mounted the jack in front of the plate and had my nephew make me a step that I could mount to the plate. I sent hm pictures of my mounting plate, told him what size I wanted it to be and what the hole pattern spacing needed to be. He ran to Home Depot to get the 1/2 inch tubing and a couple hours later, he called me saying it was done! Worked out GREAT! All we had to buy was the ½ inch tubing as he already had the Diamond plate. So I spent just under $40.00 and even had left over material. I’d say it’s a little over engineered but we both like over engineered!
Anyway, just thought I’d share!
