    Picked up the new boat!!

Hooray! Picked her up today. It was ungodly hot here, and our walk around started about 1pm. Whew! They were very thorough. Very. For an hour. We were sweating bullets. It was 93 and feels like 115 according to the news and my dripping shirt.
Stopped by a few places getting everything I need to go out tomorrow! Hopefully I'll get her slimed. My neighbors say Lake Osborne is tough if you don't know it, guess I'll find out!

    Took a pic at dusk.

Those 175s are a great rig for those who have small garages. It looks like it will serve you well

I looked at the picture again today. That 75 looks huge on that boat from that angle!

It is twice the displacement of the 60. It does look huge! I hit 41 easy and 44 top once, GPS. Fast enough for me. I could go the length of the lake in 5 minutes, slowing for bridges.

    It is a 175, which has a modified V.

That size boat and motor setup will be perfect for 95% of the water around you. It would even be fine for Lake O if you watch the weather. That is a good setup for Florida waters. You are not far from the canals with the Peacock Bass either. Perfect. Have fun.
