Check that the nipple is clear on the intake plenum where the ECU hose connects for MAP sensor.

I had the same problem on a 2001 Merc 200 efi and the 2 things I did was replace the old fuel lines {on the motor also} as the interior started to separate and I rebuilt the fuel pump. So far the last 3 trips out in various conditions it has performed great. Good luck on your problem.
