    DeGray this weekend

Going to DeGray this weekend with my brother in law.
Never been there, heard its deep and clear, anybody heard how the bass fishing is holding up in this heat?

Well DeGray was tough as expected. Only caught 6 keepers between the both of us on Saturday, had some nice fighting wipers in the mix as well. Lake seemed low, or lower than its been, topwater and a spoon were the only thing I could manage my bites on

If you are fishing during the day this time of the year, fish the first few hours with topwater then move out deep....brushpiles are usually the ticket. If you want something to stretch your line, you can chase them stupid hybrids. They are usually hot right now.
