    Fuel line replacement

My fuel line from tank to motor has gone bad. I believe the ethanol has gotten to the inner core of the line and has began to break apart. I have a new fuel line from tank to motor and I am going to replace the filter. I also think I need to replace the fuel line from motor to filter. The question I have is what type of fuel line do I use and how do I remove these hold down clips without breaking them or what do I use to replace them? They are not screws. As you can see there isn't much room in there. This is on a 2008 Mercury 40hp 4 stroke. Thank you!
