    I pad and Sd card Adapter for Auto chart live

    I have a new I pad does anyone know if I can load my auto chart live onto it and then buy a Sd card adapter from apple so i can take in my boat so I can import and make a map ? Thanks

    Can't do it. The only thing apple will let happen with the adapter is download pictures from cameras. It won't even download images from the units.

    You can't load software on the Ipad. Only apps.

    Okay thanks I will take my wifes Lap top then I hope it don't get wet ! Second thought I will just wait till I get back home .
