    Anchoring Down 24 Ft Pontoon

I am having trouble holding my boat when I try to anchor down in party cove, I have tried 2 30lb concrete cylinders and boat still moves around. What are people using to hold their boat. Help will be appreciated!

Get a section of rail road track. two pieces about 1.5' in length. The foot of the track will burry in the mud/rocks. Very heavy though. Make sure you have out enough rope though.

I've got a 35lb river anchor on my 23' pontoon hooked to a Minn Kota Deckhand 40. Works like a charm in deep or shallow water, hard or soft bottom.

You need a box anchor. Holds our 24 foot Bennington in the worst of condition. They are pricey, but are the real deal.

If you can find some of the old Pennsylvania 155...155lb per yard...two 1.5' sections of that definitely oughtta hold it in place
