    Fury prop on a SHO

    What hub kit will I need to put a Fury 4 on a 225 SHO?

    You have two choices...The Guardian SQ Hub kit or the Mercury Marine with the Square Bore hub.

    really just personal preference, Mercury hub kits are usually much easier to find.

    I run two out and it does fine. Jumps on plane and no blow out.

    ok Got a Fury 4 24p to put on my SHO 225 I also bought a 8M# hub kit does anyone have a picture of how that fits together? assume I take e thrust washer that is on propshaft off

    so if I am looking at that post correctly you leave the washer from Yamaha on and stack the new washer on top of it?

    Stack them, the same way the VMAX Prop are installed using 2pc thrust washers.

    That must be a Yamaha prop thing . I'm running a sho and only use one trust washer no stacking of washers with the two Mercury props I'm running for the last 100 hrs .

    There is 2 different kits. The difference is that thrust washer assembly. The one the OP has uses the 2pc design. The one you have uses the 1pc design.
