    scary thought

    just found out a co worker went to bed last night with his wife and best friend. he woke this morning to find his wife had passed in her sleep. she was 41 and no health problems we know of. please hug and tell your love ones how you feel every chance you can. be kind to the rest of us. you never know when or why. it seems I here this all the time but tend take things for granted sometimes. god bless all of you

    Happened to a guy I worked with for 30 years, he​ went to sleep and never woke up. No health issues, no smoker--- Heart attack

    Prayers for your co-worker.

    There is a lot to Sleep Apnea, so many Heart attacks in the sleep are caused by it. If you snore, get checked.

    We just had an 18 y/o girl have her heart stop while talking to a friend and died. She had no idea she had a heart defect. We worked her for a long time and amazingly she survived and is being released from the hospital this week.

    Similar story from a guy who works with my wife. They went to bed and all was fine. He awoke to find her passed away. Brain aneurysm.

    Prayers for your coworker and his family. I can't imagine how tough that would be!

    Same thing nearly happened to me at 50 years old. Was teaching school and got to feeling weak and tired. Met with the school nurse who checked me and promptly drove me to hospital. Heart stopped in emergency room parking lot. I was carried up to CCU from emergency room and was considered dead. The doctors all but give up on me but I came back briefly and left again. Now wearing a pace/defib and go in November for a replacement. Was not quite my time I suppose!

    Had a friend in his late 30s or early 40s did the same. They thought maybe sleep apnea.
