If they allow you to fish the LAKE yes smallmouth.i haven't been there this year so I'm no help.

For sure go for smallmouth. Theres a B.A.S.S open buddy tournament up there August 26th. Last year i believe 24lbs won it

If it's too windy, go into the bay and play with the largies!
Plan on at least a 4 pound average per fish to be in the money.
