Unhappy I may be the worst bass fisherman in MN

I just got back from a morning on the #1 bass lake in the country (Mille Lacs) and did not manage to get a bite in 3.5 hours of fishing.

In fairness, I'm REALLY new to bass fishing. I've fished walleyes my whole life, but this was the first time I've tried for bass on Mille Lacs. Pretty obvious I am not doing it right.

You didnt buy the right waypoints

Keep trying it will get easier, experience on the water is invaluable!

3.5 Hours isn't a lot of time to find them when what your trying isn't working, especially if you don't have a lot of experience with smallmouth. Keep at it. I don't know if it was one of those times when smallmouth just won't bite, but that happens too.

Been up ghere at least once a week this year and its sllwer than most but still catchin fish. Dont give up! Keep it simple and just stick to a drop shot and tube and cover some water till you find them if youre just starting out
