need to know how to remove seats from 1998 286 sprint bassboat

I need to find out how to remove driver/passenger seats so I can get them recovered.

Under the center seat/ cooler lid, there are two pieces of vinyl trim running bow to stern directionally.

In the middle of that trim (it kind of doubles over with a open seam in the middle) there should be 2 to 4 screws. In the far corners near the back of the seats, pull the seat back a little and there should be one in each corner and one near the front on each. The bottom should come out first, then you can see the brackets for the seat back/armrest.

If you still can't find it, shoot me an IM and I'll take a picture of mine to show you it's screw locations, it's a 1999 286, so it should be similar.

Thats how my 97 is also. Look closely cause you will miss it if not careful.
