    What reel to the 200e

    What current Shimano reel made now is closest to the Citica 200E?

    Nothing unless you are talking about frame size or reel weight. The braking systems are different.

    Used Citica E series reels come up somewhat regularly on here. You can find one if you browse the classifieds regularly. You could try a WTB post as well. I would assume the Citica I would be the closest.

    thanks, I have D7's and mg50s but wife likes those 200e's, i don't blame her

    I hear ya there. I have 2 Citica E series reels. One is a regular use reel and the 2nd is a NIB spare I am keeping for the day this one retires. Used they are $60 - 80 give or take and mint to new they are 85 - 100ish. Best of luck with whatever you choose to do.

    A curado 70 is on par with that 200 e citica as far as performance ,just smaller.
