    evinrude ((e tec))

    is there supposed to be a rubber cover over the trim and tilt, that is on the gear shift lever, mine has just 2 red small buttons on it, answer please

    Depends on what control was installed when rigging. There were some hand throttles that had two small red buttons for the trim switch.
