150 SHO

I have a 2017 150 sho. Boat has 8 hours on it. Checked oil few
minutes ago and my oil level is above the full line. I have heard
that SHO's will make oil. What do I do now?

All four strokes can make oil. It is not peculiar to the SHO. The smaller SHO's are different anyway from the V6 SHO's.

Either drain some oil to get the level to the mid point between the min and max line or drain and refill to the mid-point between the min and max line. Don't use synthetic oil.

Then run the motor at or above 5000 RPM for several hours and hope that the rings seat.
